The Solo & Small Firm Practice Section will be hosting a mentorship program for members from September 2022 through May 2023, and is currently seeking members interested in participating as a mentor or as a mentee.  The program matches attorneys new to solo and small firm practice with experienced solo and small firm practitioners.  Mentors assist mentees with an Introduction to the Legal Community, Professional Development, Ethics, and Law Office Management.

Mentor Qualifications & Application

Mentors are required to have 9-years experience as a solo or small firm practitioner, be a member in good standing of the Maryland Bar, and be an active member of the MSBA and Solo & Small Firm Practice Section.  Interested members should apply by or before September 2, 2022 using this link.

Mentee Qualifications & Application
Mentees are required to be an active member in good standing of the Maryland Bar, and a maximum of 8 years experience. Interested members should apply by or before September 2, 2022 using this link.

Once mentors and mentees are matched, a kick-off event will be scheduled.
