Join the MSBA Elder Law and Disability Rights Section for its signature event, “Hot Topics in Elder Law” on Wednesday, June 14th from 9 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. The program, which will be presented virtually, will offer numerous opportunities to hear from experienced practitioners about the latest developments in elder and disability law.

The day will begin with an Overview of New state and Federal Legislation by Morris Klein, Esq., followed by an update on Maryland’s New Statutory Power of Attorney Form, provided by Ryan Wilson, Esq.

The program will continue with an Update on Elder Law Ethics, offered by Brittany L. Strickland, Esq., an analysis of Medicare Issues by David Lipschutz, Esq., and perspective on Federal HOTMA Regulations, from David Goldfarb, Esq.

The session will wrap up with an MA Waiver Update and a discussion of what the end of the Public Health Emergency means, by Elena Sallitto, Esq., and insight on State Medicaid issues, including issues related to the end of Public Health Emergency, by Lorie Mayorga, Esq.
