Join the Estates and Trusts Section on Day 2 of MSBA Legal Excellence Week for the Advanced Estate Planning Institute! 

The March 15, 2022, program, which starts at 9 am, will feature expert analysis of new rules, regulations, and practice trends to help you plan for your clients’ futures and protect their assets. Our expert panel will discuss and analyze: the Uniform Partition of Heirs Property Act; Recent Developments in Federal Estate, Gift and Generation-Skipping Transfer Tax Law; Potter v. Potter and Related Testamentary Disposition Issues; The SAFE Act and more!

The program provides 5.5 hours of CLE credits in surrounding MCLE states, 6.0 hours of Real Estate Continuing Education credits, and 5.5 general credits from the National Federation of Paralegal Associations Inc..

The health and safety of our faculty, staff, attendees, sponsors, and community is of utmost importance to the MSBA; therefore, in light of the surge of COVID cases in Maryland and surrounding states, the MSBA has made the difficult decision to conduct Legal Excellence Week and all related programs 100% virtually. 

The MSBA Learn App allows you to safely access the Advanced Estate Planning Institute and all of the programs from Legal Excellence Week from any location. You can use the app to connect and communicate with presenters, sponsors, and colleagues, and participate in polls as well. 

You can attend a single session or buy a weekly pass that gives you access to up to 40 CLE credits in over 55 hours of substantive learning in addition to interactive sessions.  You can also view all of the content from Legal Excellence Week for up to 90 days after the event!
