The Maryland Commercial Receivership Act went into effect on October 1, 2019. A program covering the background of its enactment and a summary of its more significant provisions, as well as issues that are raised, will be presented by attorneys who were involved with the drafting of the Act and its passage. This program should be of interest to attorneys and other professionals who represent parties in insolvency and foreclosure proceedings including members of the MSBA Real Estate, Business Law and Litigation sections.
