CAROLINE L. HECKER has been elected as the next Managing Partner at Rosenberg Martin Greenberg, LLP, becoming the first woman and non-founding member to hold the position. Ms. Hecker joined RMG’s Land Use and Zoning and real estate practice group in 2007 and became a partner in the firm in 2013. She currently leads the Land Use and Zoning team and is a member of the firm’s Management Committee and Sponsorship and Charitable Giving Committee. Caroline has also led the Associate Marketing Committee, which mentors young associates and instills business development awareness in the firm’s attorneys. Her legal work has been recognized by client- and peer-recommended industry rankings, including the U.S. New & World Report Best Lawyers® in America – Real Estate (2017-2021), Maryland Super Lawyers Rising Star – Land Use and Zoning (2021-2020) and Chambers USA – Land Use and Zoning (2019-2020).

ELYSE L. STRICKLAND has become a Shareholder of McMillan Metro, P.C. Ms. Strickland, who has been with the firm for two years and is Chair of the litigation practice group, practices both family law and commercial litigation. She is also a family law mediator, trained collaborative lawyer and certified as a child “best interest” attorney.  In addition to family law, Ms. Strickland represents an array of business clients with such issues as shareholder disputes, employment agreements, and commercial contracts.

BONNIE L. MICHAEL has joined Baker Donelson as a member of the Firm’s Financial Services Transactions Group and its Specialty Finance Team. Ms. Michael served for more than a decade as the General Counsel and Vice President of Legal and Compliance (USA) at Volvo Financial Services. With more than 20 years of legal experience representing equipment finance companies and the financial services industry, Ms. Michael represents clients in a full range of commercial financing. Her practice includes guiding banks, financial institutions, equipment and leasing companies, and other lenders in structuring and negotiating their complex finance transactions. She has extensive experience advising clients on motor vehicle fleet financing.
