Start your day with the MSBA and the Maryland Access to Justice Commission as we return in-person to Annapolis on January 24, 2023, for our annual MSBA Day to amplify the voice of the legal profession. Hear from Maryland’s top elected officials, learn about MSBA’s advocacy program, discuss key priorities with legislators, and find ways to collaborate on issues impacting the legal profession. Please contact advocacy@msba.org with any questions.

Candidate Interviews

Over the past year, MSBA connected with 25 candidates for public office in Maryland and provided non-partisan interviews and debates to our members and the public during both the Primary and General Election season. The diverse views and substantial participation from various political parties offer voters and legal professionals an opportunity to learn candidate positions and make informed decisions and also strengthen MSBA’s positive relationships with all branches of government.

MSBA discussed issues of importance to our members, including:

  • Legislative priorities
  • Juvenile and criminal justice
  • Economic development
  • Access to justice
  • Election reform
  • and more.
