Keeping MSBA members aware of relevant news and critical trends that impact the legal industry and the profession of law is an ongoing goal of the MSBA. The Web Notification Service, a curation of content relating to 13 practice areas, is one of the many ways the association accomplishes this goal. 

As an organization that continually strives to be best in class, using the latest technology to bring high-quality content to its members, MSBA will be using an artificial intelligence (AI)-based platform to launch a new WNS newsletter for four additional practice areas: Agriculture Law, Animal Law, State & Local Government Law, and Veterans’ Affairs & Military Law. This new WNS product will be launched as a trial and sent to members enrolled in these practice area sections.

What is an AI personalized newsletter? 

MSBA will use rasa.io, a personalized email newsletter software solution, to harness the power of AI.

Using artificial intelligence and machine learning software, rasa.io synthesizes several AI techniques to curate content and personalize each MSBA subscriber’s newsletter experience. The platform uses artificial intelligence to curate and filter content from sources provided by MSBA, and the AI algorithm personalizes each email sent out. As a result, no two newsletters are alike, bringing a level of email campaign personalization that would be nearly impossible otherwise.

As a result of these AI personalized newsletter techniques, email personalization on any given newsletter might include a selection of content specifically targeted to the individual recipient, or the placement of the articles may vary based on the reader’s past habits. Even subject lines will vary based on the individual recipient’s personal preferences and past behavior.

Based on relevant articles that we’ve curated for the newsletter and the help of the AI, a unique, personalized WNS newsletter will be delivered to your inbox. 

As you engage with the newsletter and articles, your newsletter will become more personalized based on areas of interest and you will receive the content that is best suited for you.
