Save the Date for A2JC’s and DLS Committee’s Legislative Preview

Each legislative session, the Access to Justice Commission and Maryland civil legal aid organizations work to remove many of the barriers to access to justice by advocating for legislative reform.

In an effort to share information and raise awareness about possible opportunities to coordinate, collaborate, and work in coalition with civil legal aid organizations during the 2024 General Assembly session, the Access to Justice Commission is excited to announce that its DLS Committee will be hosting its inaugural Legislative Preview on Jan 4th from 3:30 pm to 5 pm via Zoom

During the event, leaders of Maryland civil legal aid organizations will share their legislative priorities in numerous areas, including housing, consumer law, abuse of vulnerable populations, expungement, and public benefits.

Access to Justice Commissioners and DLS Committee members are invited to join to learn more about the legislative priorities of civil legal aid organizations to help inform the DLS Committee’s work. To register, click here
