MSBA continues to keep you updated with the latest developments from local jurisdictions. Many of you have expressed concern at continued in person hearings given the impact of the COVID epidemic. Today Prince George’s Circuit Court Administrative Judge Adams informed the public that effective April 6, 2020, all hearings in the Circuit Court will be conducted remotely.

  • Counsel will no longer be allowed to enter the courthouse for bond hearings or other emergency matters.
  • Emergency filings should be dropped off at the Commissioner’s entrance during normal business hours. Please include an email and cell phone on all emergency pleadings.
  • The Court will contact you if a remote emergency hearing is granted. Please download Zoom to your smart device so that you can participate if needed. If you do not have Zoom, a voice only hearing will be conducted.
