This practical session will cover intentional communication with clients and opposing counsel, as well as how to see yourself as a problem solver from the beginning of intake with a client through resolution of a case. Learn practical approaches to issues such as defining the scope of representation, discussing fees, expectations for communication, safekeeping property, managing difficult clients, avoiding fee disputes, computer settings mistakes to avoid and more. A compendium of potential fee agreements will be part of the handouts for this session.
